Revenue Sharing from Askmebet
This document describes Askmebet’s revenue sharing frameworks, calculation mechanics, payment workflows, and governance controls. It is designed for commercial teams, finance, and partner success to embed into contracts and partner portals.
1. Objective
Define transparent, auditable, and flexible rev share models that align incentives across Askmebet, Operators, Affiliates, and Providers while protecting against fraud, chargebacks, and regulatory exposure.
2. Primary revenue models
• Revenue Share (Net): Partner receives an agreed percentage of net platform revenue (platform gross gaming revenue × take rate − variable costs and adjustments). This is the standard for operators and white label partners.
• Gross Indexed Share: Fixed percentage of gross gaming revenue (GGR) before major deductions; used only when clearly contractually justified (higher risk for Askmebet).
• Hybrid (Base + Share): Fixed monthly minimum plus % of incremental net revenue above a threshold — useful for strategic or managed accounts.
• CPA / Affiliate: Cost per acquisition or pay per deposit models with clawback provisions for fraud/chargebacks.
• Per round/Provider Payouts: Game/content providers paid per round or via revenue share according to RTP and contribution rules.
3. Definitions (contractual clarity)
• GGR: Gross gaming revenue = total stakes − player winnings (per agreed methodology).
• Platform Revenue: GGR × platform take rate (if GGR used).
• Variable Costs: Payment fees, provider shares, taxes, chargebacks, and bonuses that are passed through or deducted before calculating partner share.
• Net Payable: Platform Revenue − Variable Costs − Reserves − Adjustments. Partner Share = Net Payable × agreed %.
4. Calculation mechanics & cadence
• Period: Default monthly in arrears. Alternative cadences (weekly/quarterly) negotiable for high volume or high risk partners.
• Reconciliation: Askmebet produces a detailed statement (GGR, platform revenue, line item deductions, reserves, net payable). Partners receive transaction level data via partner portal.
• Idempotency & Matching: All events (deposits, withdrawals, round results) are matched to ledger entries and provider files; only reconciled, non disputed items are final.
• Chargebacks & Clawbacks: Chargebacks within a defined dispute window reduce current or future payouts; representment outcomes adjust subsequent statements.
5. Reserves, holds & risk management
• Initial Reserve: New/High risk partners may have an initial reserve (percentage of monthly payable) to cover early disputes. Release schedule tied to performance and chargeback history.
• Rolling Reserve: A small ongoing reserve may be retained to protect against delayed disputes; reviewed quarterly.
• Conditional Holds: Payments may be withheld pending AML/KYC remediation, regulatory requests, or material reconciliation anomalies.
6. Adjustments & dispute resolution
• Adjustment Window: Partners have a fixed window (commonly 30 days) to raise disputes on statements. Unresolved issues are escalated; material corrections are applied in the next pay cycle.
• Audit Rights: Contracts include limited audit rights (data access, sample trail requests) subject to confidentiality and cost allocation rules.
• Arbitration & Finality: Escalation paths and arbitration clauses specified for irreconcilable disputes.
7. Taxation, currency & fees
• Withholding: Askmebet may withhold taxes per jurisdiction and provide necessary documentation.
• Currency Conversion: When required, conversion uses the reconciliation date FX; conversion fees may be deducted.
• Payment Fees: Wire or rail fees may be passed to partner or netted from payment depending on contract.
8. Reporting & transparency
• Statement Contents: GGR by market, platform revenue, variable cost breakdown (payments, provider costs, bonuses, chargebacks), reserves, net payable, and explanatory notes.
• Access: Self service partner portal with downloadable CSVs, audit trail, and API access for automated reconciliation.
• KPIs: Chargeback rate, payment success rate, take rate, and net revenue per active player tracked and visible to partners.
9. Termination & final settlement
• Final Reconciliation: On termination, final payables are determined after the full chargeback/reprsendment window elapses per contract. Any outstanding disputes or compliance holds are resolved before final settlement.
• Liquidation: Reserved funds used to satisfy outstanding liabilities before releasing residuals.
10. Best practices & commercial levers
• Use dynamic revenue shares for new markets (higher initial rev share stepping down with scale).
• Incentivize quality traffic via tiered CPA with stricter KYC and anti fraud conditions.
• Implement payment routing and provider optimization to reduce variable costs and increase net shares.
• Add performance bonus clauses for hitting onboarding, retention, or GGR milestones.
11. Sample simple formula
Net Payable = (GGR × platform take) − (Payment Fees + Provider Share + Chargebacks + Promotions) − Reserves
Partner Payout = Net Payable × PartnerShare%
